Using Referral Access

Using Referral Access

EcoVPN is not currently open-registration - access is issued via encrypted referral. This article explains how to redeem invitations, understand trust tiers, and provision configurations based on sponsor alignment.

What Is Referral Access?

Each EcoVPN client must be referred by a trusted sponsor. Sponsors control:

  • Access tier (Tier 1, 2, or 3)
  • Config slot availability
  • Credential delivery (manual or glyph-triggered)

Redeeming a Referral

  • Click your sponsor’s invitation link or glyph
  • Create a secure account at /client/sign-in.html
  • Confirm your access tier and config allocation

Understanding Tiers

  • Tier 1: Basic access - single config, limited region options
  • Tier 2: Multi-node provisioning, dedicated IP eligibility
  • Tier 3: Operator-level - can refer others, manage infrastructure, assign billing

Referral Expiry

Referrals may expire based on time, signal usage, or sponsor revocation. If your config deactivates, contact your sponsor to renew trust and reissue credentials.

Glyph Logic (Optional)

Sponsors can deploy referral glyphs - encrypted symbols that activate tiered access or automation scripts. If you’ve received one, paste it into your dashboard and follow the instructions.

“EcoVPN’s infrastructure is gated by trust. Referrals aren't links - they’re encrypted endorsements.”
