Access Tiers Explained

Access Tiers Explained

EcoVPN infrastructure is segmented by access Tier. These aren’t user roles, they’re encrypted trust levels determined by glyph lineage, audit signals, and sponsor behavior. Tier elevation is earned, not requested.

Tier Breakdown

  • Tier 0: No tunnel access - placeholder for expired or revoked glyphs
  • Tier 1: Standard tunnel access - node visibility, EcoNode routing
  • Tier 2: Referral privileges - jurisdictional routing, dedicated IP eligibility
  • Tier 3: Infrastructure telemetry - config slot provisioning, dark signal alerts

How Tiers Are Assigned

  • Encoded within glyph metadata upon initial onboarding
  • Determined by sponsor lineage and signal integrity
  • Subject to silent audit and entropy monitoring
  • Cannot be requested via dashboard - manual path only

Privileges Per Tier

  • Tier 1: Access to EcoVPN client and standard endpoint pool
  • Tier 2: Dual-zone configs, DNS overrides, manual glyph issuing
  • Tier 3: Deployment diagnostics, referral lineage pairing, revalidation telemetry

Downgrades & Expiry

  • Tier 2 or 3 may be silently downgraded if entropy collapse is detected
  • Tier 0 glyphs may be reactivated via sponsor-side revalidation
  • Expiry linked to sponsor trust status and not direct user activity

Best Practices

  • Verify your Tier via Profile → Access Level in the EcoVPN dashboard
  • Use encrypted voice contact to request Tier review or lineage correction
  • Do not cross-tier deploy config files without sponsor validation

“Your Tier isn’t your status, it’s your signal lineage inside encrypted trust.”
