Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 1st March 2024
Last Updated: 15th July 2025

By registering, accessing, or deploying EcoVPN infrastructure, you agree to the following terms designed to protect integrity, privacy, and operational resilience.

1. Service Description

  • EcoVPN provides encrypted VPN services using the WireGuard protocol across jurisdictional trust zones.
  • Modular features include Threat Protection, Dedicated IP, DNS Filtering, and Infrastructure Alerts.

2. Eligibility

  • Service is available to verified organisations and signal-minded operators.
  • Individual consumer access is restricted unless explicitly approved.

3. Acceptable Use

  • No illegal activity, infrastructure attacks, or traffic manipulation is permitted.
  • Dedicated IPs and DNS configurations must align with declared business usage.
  • Abuse of encrypted infrastructure may result in immediate suspension.

4. Configuration & Deployment

  • Profiles are time-bound, referral-gated, and may rotate based on tier access.
  • DNS queries are routed through encrypted tunnels; plaintext resolution is blocked by default.
  • TLS inspection may apply to standard clients but is disabled for confidential or regulated organisations unless consent is provided.

5. Modifications

  • EcoVPN reserves the right to modify infrastructure, terms, or access profiles with notice where feasible.

6. Termination

  • Accounts may be suspended or revoked if node integrity is threatened or terms violated.
  • Referral codes and access links may be invalidated during infrastructure changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • EcoVPN does not guarantee absolute anonymity and is not liable for client-side vulnerabilities or external data breaches.

8. Sector-Specific Addendums

  • Legal, financial, and healthcare organisations may request isolated node routing with TLS pass-through and encrypted DNS hardening.
  • Jurisdiction-based traffic shaping may apply depending on declared regional constraints.

9. Referral Access & Controlled Onboarding

  • Access to EcoVPN infrastructure may require valid referral codes, glyph tokens, or organisation verification.
  • Referral links may expire or be invalidated to maintain ecosystem exclusivity.
  • Onboarding logic is designed to limit mass consumer adoption and preserve trust integrity.

10. Infrastructure Transparency & Ethics

  • EcoVPN upholds infrastructure transparency via disclosed node topology and jurisdictional mapping, reviewed internally for consistency.
  • No partnerships exist with surveillance entities, data brokers, or infrastructure-compromising organisations.
  • All services are operated independently under The Webhosting Group with green-powered infrastructure principles.

11. Future Services & Experimental Nodes

  • EcoVPN may introduce experimental features such as Metadata Cloaking, VPN-on-Mesh, or encrypted glyph routing.
  • Participation in beta services is opt-in and may carry different reliability expectations.
  • Experimental nodes will be designated in configuration headers or dashboard notes.

12. Email Usage & Routing Considerations

When connected to EcoVPN, email clients may experience disruptions due to proxy logic, egress restrictions, or destination-based filtering. Split tunneling is recommended for trusted email clients, alongside proxy-level whitelisting for approved mail server domains. EcoVPN encrypts all tunnel traffic, but external mail servers may interpret VPN-based connections via packet headers or behavioral patterns. For infrastructure adjustments, tier upgrades, or routing exemptions, verified organisations may initiate encrypted dialogue via the EcoVPN Admin Area. Access tokens and contact logic are described within the Help Centre.

13. Infrastructure Entity & Routing Boundaries

EcoVPN functions independently within The Webhosting Group constellation. While infrastructure is powered by GreenWebHosting.co.uk’s green node stack, all operational routing, referral logic, and user correspondence are encrypted and handled exclusively via EcoVPN's Admin Portal. The Webhosting Group does not serve as a contact vector for EcoVPN accounts or support requests.
